Welcome!

I hold a 5-year BSc in Electrical Engineering and the curricular units of an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering (both from IST-UTL, Portugal).

I was employed between January 1987 and May 1991, providing IT services and training.

From June 1991 to December 2019, I provided IT services to companies and individuals on a self-employed basis: consultancy, support, programming, and training. I temporarily suspended this professional activity to devote myself to my doctorate.

I have been a tutor of diverse subjects of higher education since 2008. I am the owner of the EuExplico® brand.

I am working toward a PhD degree at ISCTE-IUL as a worker/student, and I am a research assistant at ISTAR, ISCTE's R&D unit.  Since the academic year 2020/2021, I have been working as an invited professor at ISCTE-IUL. I share educational materials and showcase the project work carried out by my students on the website acsov.pt.
